A complete
list of all of Saxophonist Pat Carey’s accomplishments
isn’t possible here. So here’s a short inventory of
highlights: Pat has worked with The Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra,
Lionel Hampton, Sarah Vaughan, Mel Torme, and Tony
Bennett He has shared the stage with The Guess
Who, George Thorogood, and Hock Walsh.
As the sax man for the The Downchild Blues Band,
he has worked along side such luminaries as B.B. King, Buddy
Guy, Bobby Blue Bland, James Cotton, Otis Rush, Dr John, Joe Cocker,
Room Full of Blues, The Beach Boys, Jeff Healey, Eric Burdon, Kenny
Neal, Roy Gaines, Dan Akroyd, Daniel Lanois, The Coasters, The Marvelettes,
Little Anthony, Peter Noone (Hermans Hermits), Leslie Gore, Little
Eva, The Crystals, The Temptations, Colin James, Duke Robillard,
and many others.
As
a studio musician Pat has worked with Rita Chiarelli, Danny
Brooks, Sunny Fournier, Curley Bridges, Jack De Keyzer, Fathead,
Chuck Jackson, Big Daddy G, Mark "Bird" Stafford,
and Coldsweat. Pat has also been featured on numerous
jingles and radio & TV shows for CBC, CTV &
Global TV. He has also been a bandleader, fronting
the Pat Carey & Tom Jestadt Jazz Quartet, and
co-founded The IRIDESCENT MUSIC Company Inc. His
most recent music project, Pat Carey’s Jazz Navigators
has released an all-original Jazz CD called Starlight.
